Because, Eric V, US companies (and others globally too) import these products because they can get them DIRT cheap and sell them at HUGE profits, instead of employing AMERICAN workers in the US to make the same products.

John, I will have to agree with certain elements of your post. I do think that non-citizens who are here illegally allow wages to be kept low for laboring workers. These people will work cheap because it's ten times what they would make in their own country.

Theresa-532036, oh I suppose you think prisoners should be treated like they are in many other parts of the country--who get to live the rest of their lives with 3 square meals and a warm bed, free healthcare, education at no cost, satellite TV, free gym membership, etc. etc.

Agree. They should take a good look at what the UK does. You either have to be educated, truly artistic, be sponsored by a registered company, or have some other worthwhile attribute to contribute to even be considered to be given permission to take up permanent residence.
